I'm just getting caught up on my blogging. I've been drawing and cross-stitching and quilting and journaling. Sometimes it seems like there is just not enough time in the day... Of course, all these rainy days we've been getting makes you just kinda sleepy and lethargic, so that doesn't really help. My dog and two cats have spring fever. The cats race around the house like maniacs and my dog wants to go play in mudpuddles. Picture a big white dog headed gleefully for mudpuddles when we go to walk him... yeah, that's fun.

J.J. and Ghost

J.J., the pixie kitty, is in love with Ghost. She follows him everywhere and always wants to give him kisses. We used to worry about her safety, but he's very gentle with her. This is one of those things that you only get to enjoy if you don't have to work all the time.

Okay, so we've survived the double whammy of 2 blizzards, and it's started to melt , but with so much snow, it's going to take forever! The worst part now is just surviving the huge icicles crashing down. We had one crash down from our downspout that smashed straight through a trash can lid! Yikes!
Definitely glad I didn't have to go out in that mess. Ghost, my big ole doggy, had a blast until it got past his chest. Then he decided it wasn't any fun any more. Now it took him a while to get to that point, because he's so big... Now, post storm, as it is melting, he's climbing up onto the snowbanks and having fun barking at birdies.
